Melissa, a big supporter from Nebraska has a sad story to share. And UPHawaii is here to share it with you. Please show your support in everyday you can.

Melissa’s Story..

“Our daughter-in-law Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer near the end of March 2019. She went to the first of many appointments and would like to ask for prayers and positive thoughts as she and the family go through this latest detour in their lives. 
On the 25th of April, she will have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Pending any surprises, she will then be put on hormone therapy. Originally we thought there would be a need for Chemo and radiation BUT as of now, there is no need for them! Hopefully, it stays that way. Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts so far. Please keep them coming!

Amy is married to our son Steven and they have three incredible children! Emma, Zak, and Jaxon. They work hard, they enjoy family time, and like most of us ... if a big medical bill hits ... it can spin out of control and cause undue stress that prevents perfect healing! 
We wanted to do something fun and positive to help Amy and the family. Something that would express her personality and the hope and positivity she puts forward plus her love for turtles. We know each and every one of her friends and family HAVE HER BACK.”
